ACROSS CANADA / VIRTUAL
TransCare+: Offer free community programming such as drop-in and educational workshops. We also offer support for individual and group-based care navigation.
Chronically Queer: CQ is a peer-facilitated support group for folks who are chronically ill, disabled, and/or neurodivergent. Meets online.
Egale: Their resources and research provide the most reliable and up-to-date tools and information for 2SLGBTQI people & communities, service providers, schools, and companies.
Friends of Ruby: Support for two-spirit, lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, intersex, asexual and all gender non-conforming youth (aged 16-29) by providing free counselling, housing and social services.
PFLAG Canada: In communities across the country, the PFLAG Canada network provides peer support, education and advocacy for a Canada that affirms respects and values all sexualities, genders and gender expressions.
The Enchanté Network: Connects and supports 2Spirit and LGBTQ+ community organizations across Canada. We help build stronger 2Spirit and LGBTQ+ community organizations through providing resources, training, and peer to peer networking.
ALBERTA
Skipping Stone - Calgary/Virtual: Offer a welcoming, positive, and judgement-free space for anyone who identities as trans, transgender, non-binary, or gender diverse, as well as those questioning, exploring or looking to affirming their gender identity or expression. Media resource list for Parents & Caregivers.
OutLink - Calgary/Virtual: Community-based, not-for-profit charity dedicated to providing support, education, outreach, and referrals for the 2SLGBTQIA+ and allied communities in Calgary.
End of The Rainbow Foundation - Calgary: Peer support groups, supports to settle, and support for refugee hearings in the Calgary area.
Brite Line - Edmonton: Created by members of the community for the community, Brite Line is a safe place for all ages to call to connect with hope, courage, support, understanding and the freedom to be who you are.
QueerOUT Youth Program - Edmonton: A dedicated space for queer, trans, non-binary and gender diverse youth (ages 12 – 24) to to explore and affirm identity, engage in fun activities, peer support, and find affirming care and support.
OUTreach - Southern Alberta/Virtual: The Trans Peer Support Group is a peer-led support network that provides a supportive environment for people to convey their gender expression in a safe, closed space.
BRITISH COLUMBIA
Trans Connect - East & West Kootenay: Health and community program supporting transgender, non-binary, Two Spirit, intersex, and gender-diverse people. One-on-one emotional and practical support, events, an workshops.
Gender Journeys & Transcend - Nanaimo: Peer Support Groups for Transgender, Non-binary, Two-Spirit, & Gender Diverse Youth and Adults.
Catherine White Holman Wellness Society - Vancouver: Provides low-barrier wellness and legal services to Two-Spirit, transgender and gender non-conforming people.
UNYA's 2-Spirit Collective - Vancouver: Provides support, resources, and programming for Indigenous youth, ages 15 to 30, who identify as 2-spirit or LGBTQ+, and for those who are questioning their sexual or gender identities
PROUD2BE - Vancouver: A program dedicated to empowering 2SLGBTQIA+ people with a focus on trans, two-spirit, non-binary, genderqueer, and youth who do not fit into the traditional gender binary, as well as their families.
Gender Spectacular Families - Victoria: Provides a gender affirming, non-judgemental, and caring space for parents and caregivers to build community with one another.
MANITOBA
Big Brothers, Big Sisters - Winnipeg: The program matches children and youth who identify as 2SLGBTQ+ with an adult mentor who also identifies as 2SLGBTQ+ for a one-on-one mentoring relationship.
Rainbow Resource Centre - Winnipeg: Offers support to the 2SLGBTQ+ community in the form of counselling, education, and programming for individuals ranging from children to 55+.
NEW BRUNSWICK
Imprint Trans ID Clinic: In a trans-positive and inclusive space, the Clinic provides clients with free legal information, form-filling services, and referrals to assist folks with their legal transition.
Chroma: Offer a wide variety of programs like Name and Gender Marker Change Navigation, Rainbow Lunch Club, and Chroma’s Teen Drop-in.
Monarch Drop in: A safe space for youth and adults alike to come during the day and feel supported and welcomed 🌈
QTfattiesnb: A grassroots collective by and for 2SLGBTQ+ fat folks.
NEWFOUNDLAND AND LABRADOR
Trans Support NL: Offer programs like Peer Support Group, Binder Swap, and Mending Mondays.
Thrive Trans Support NL: A non-profit organization that offers resources, peer support, and awareness and inclusion training to support the trans community of Newfoundland and Labrador.
NORTHWEST TERRITORIES
Northern Mosaic Network - Yellowknife: A space for 2SLGBTQIPA+ and questioning children and youth and allies to come together for recreation, support and arts-based programs.
NOVA SCOTIA
The Cape Breton Transgender Network: Support anyone that identifies as intersex or transgender primarily but also help anyone else with gender concerns, questions and the broader 2SLGBTIAQ+ community.
F.L.Y. - Dartmouth: Offer peer support to people who are transgender, non-binary, gender fluid, gender queer, bi-gender, two spirited, gender questioning and are 19 or over, as well as their partners and loved ones.
Valley Youth Project - Wolfville: Open to all youth, 13 – 25, who identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual, asexual, transgender, intersex, two-spirit, queer, or questioning, as well as to straight and cisgender allies.
Trans Family: Peer-support organization that welcomes trans* identified, gender queer and questioning people along with their parents, partners and other family members as well as trans* allies in general.
The Youth Project: Provides a variety of gender affirming items to youth in need throughout the province of Nova Scotia.
ONTARIO
Trans Wellness Ontario: Organization that provides low-barrier support to individuals and families. They offer individual services and community services, including a Trans Femme Peer Group and Trans Masc Peer Group.
Family Services - Ottawa: Around the Rainbow provides education, counselling and support services to 2SLGBTQI+ families and individuals.
NorWest CHC - Thunder Bay: Offer counselling and peer support groups for individuals, their partners, and family members, as well as a Queer Drop-In Group.
LGBT YouthLine: Provides affirming, anonymous peer support and resources for 2SLGBTQ+ youth across Ontario.
The 519's Trans ID Clinic - Toronto/Virtual: Provides virtual and/or In-Person legal assistance to 2 Spirit, Trans* and non-binary folks in Ontario with ID applications, name change, gender marker change, and other related needs.
CTYS Pride & Prejudice Program - Toronto: Provides individual counselling for 2SLGBTQ+ youth (age 12 to 24) and their families. All their therapists also identify within the 2SLGBTQ+ communities.
OK2BME - Waterloo: Confidential counselling program 2SLGBTQIA+ individuals and their partners. Also offers counselling to families with 2SLGBTQIA+ children or youth under age 18. All services are provided subsidized/no-cost as needed to residents of Waterloo Region.
PRINCE EDWARD ISLAND
PEI Transgender Network: Offer support, resources, and programming to the 2STGDNB+ community, families, loved ones and allies, as well as EDI training services to professionals and the public.
QUÉBEC
Jeunesse Lambda - Montreal: Community organization created by and for lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans and queer or questioning people aged 14 to 30 who hold evenings of discussions and activities aimed at healthy socialization.
FEMTL: Built by the transfem community for the transfem community. A grassroots organization empowering trans women and transfeminine people through support, social events, and mutual aid.
ASTT(e)Q - Montreal: Organize meetings for people of all genders, trans or questioning, including individual support, discussion groups, and special events/educational workshops.
TransEstrie - Sherbrooke: Support the trans and non-binary communities of Estrie by creating services and by representing their interests to institutions, organizations and establishments. Services include Name and sex designation support and gender-affirming gear distribution.
Trans Outaouais - Gatineau: Offer in-person trans support groups for folks aged 16+ as well as a virtual group for parents of trans children.
Gender Creative Kids - Montreal: Support meetings for parents and guardians of trans, nonbinary, and gender-creative children in the Saint-Henri and Notre-Dame-de-Grâce neighbourhoods.
Interline: Through their 24-hour help and information service, they offer support to LGBTQ+ people and their loved ones.
DiverGenres: Intersectional feminist community organization, by and for trans binary and non-binary people.
SASKATCHEWAN
OUTSaskatoon: Offer free counseling services, workshops, training, and peer support groups for the 2SLGBTQ+ community.
UR Pride: Provides services and programming for the community of Regina. Programming includes peer support groups for 2SLGBTQ+ youth and adults 55+.
Camp fYrefly: A leadership retreat for queer and trans youth ages 14 - 24. In a fun and social environment, campers develop skills that will positively impact their lives, homes, schools, and communities.
YUKON
Queer Yukon - Whitehorse: Supports, promotes, and organizes events for the 2SLGBTQIA+ community, including the Yukon Gender Gear Program.
